#2: Make Sure Everything’s Spotless
You want potential buyers to see your home as easy to maintain, and the best way to do that is to show it to them when it’s been perfectly maintained. You should go so far as to getting all the spots out of the sink, dusting the tops of picture frames on the walls, and scrubbing the baseboards (especially in the kitchen). Buyers look everywhere!
#3: Put Fresh Towels in the Bathroom
A favorite trick of professional home-stagers is to turn the bathroom into a spa-like environment by putting out brand-new towels that you’ve never used. When people leave after a tour, put the towels away so nobody makes the mistake of using them; bring them out next time someone’s coming. Besides, you’ll have nice, new towels to use in your next home.
